Wedding Pictures Finale [Part 3]

Posted by Al on Apr 9th, 2007

Alright, here’s the last set. Almost half of the pictures taken were at the reception. That’s almost 500 pictures that we had to sort through! I think we did a pretty good job narrowing these down…even if we only narrowed it down to 133 pictures. Enjoy!

And special thanks again to Susan at Ocean Tsunami Photography! Great pictures and wedding package!

Ok, here’s the second set of pictures. This covers the pre-reception period while everyone was waiting in the foyer area. What was the wedding party doing during this time? Well, now you can find out.

All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Snow…board

Posted by Al on Feb 18th, 2007

Disappointing. That’s all I got to say. We finally made it up to the mountain this season and they SOLD OUT of lift tickets. Sold out? I didn’t even know that happens. I mean, I guess it’s understandable. To make a positive out of this, we had lunch and watched the other people have fun. Yeah. Then we went and bought our full day tickets for March 10. I will have at least one session this season.

Good Japanese food. I’m not talking sushi either. I was surprised, either this place didn’t have sushi, or we missed it on the menu. What they do have is raw, seasoned food ready for the grill. And you are the grill master. I usually don’t like cooking my food, a la the Strip Club in San Diego. But at least here, the grill is right in your table.

Quick Update

Posted by Al on Feb 13th, 2007

Hey everyone! Just wanted to send a quick update for those interested.

Jenn and I have been working hard and the hours have been rough. Well, for Jenn anyways. She’s been pulling 12 hour days and then 24-hour days on the weekends twice a month. These could be either Saturdays or Sundays. Way too many hours, but I guess the medical industry abuses their Residents. I feel pretty bad for her, but she’s strong willed and can get through this. Engineering is a cake walk compared to what all you medical people have to do at the beginning. But I’ll never admit that in person.

Sebastian (our dancing turtle) moved up with us recently. Here he is in his new dig. Sierra may be joining us in the RC next month since she will be receiving her last vaccine for rabies. Yay, we got a turtle and a dog. That equals a kid, right?

In other news, we will FINALLY head up to the mountain this Sunday. Not sure which one yet, but I’m definitely getting my carving on! I can’t wait.

We had a little mishap with the wedding pictures, so I should get that sorted shortly. Stay tuned!

Albert and his Bit#hes

I know what you’re thinking. I’m talking about dogs of course! Albert Guevarra stopped by to visit the puppies. It’s the puppies’ first visit from another dog friend!  Albert is a beagle of course, and I’m still bothered by dog’s wearing clothing.  Shiver, the horror.

Chaos ensued.

In case you’re wondering, Pepper, the black and white puppy, is my mom’s. Evie, the larger white and tan puppy, is JoAnne’s.

Well, I know so many of you have been asking to see this online. Well, ok, maybe no one specifically asked for it, but I know you were thinking it. So here it is, in all its 320×240 glory. Enjoy.

Oh, and the wedding pics will be up soon…

Happy New Year!!!

Posted by Jenn on Jan 2nd, 2007

It’s definitely a new year for Al and I…We’re slowly moving into our new place in Rancho Cucamonga. I’m starting a new job at a hospital in San Bernardino next week. Al’s starting his new job with an engineering firm in Ontario on the 15th. He’s looking forward to his week off before the new job.

Sebastian Close Up

Sebastian will be moving up with us as well. He’s also getting a new tank (probably 50 gallon) because he’s getting too big. He’s a monster when it comes to food!

Al & Puppies

Unfortunately, Sierra will be staying in San Diego with Al’s mom, for now. She needs to be potty trained first. We’re hoping to get her, at most, after a year. At least, she’ll still be with her sisters in the meantime.

If you’re in the area, give us a call!!!

Welcome Sierra!

Jenn and I got our first dog! I say first cuz we have been planning on getting a medium to large sized dog for a while now. But when my Aunt Veronica’s dog Weena had puppies, we just couldn’t resist. Look how cute she is! She’s 3/4 poodle and 1/4 terrier and 100% loveable. We named her Sierra.

We’ve had her a week and boy is it a lot of work. It’s been a while since either of us have had a dog, so it’s like learning from scratch again. We’ll post up more pictures soon in the gallery.
